Snow White & The Compliment Sandwich

Here are my thoughts.  Charlize Theron did a really great job acting.  The dialogue wasn't that great.  The worst part was the discontinuity of the scenes (for me this was also one of the only things that stood out).  I didn't understand why when they went from the Black/Dark Forest to the Duke's place there were these random shots of them traveling in these super exotic and difficult looking landscapes - very much a ripoff of the way LOTR was shot...11 years ago...try something new?  Whenever anyone else left/went to the Duke's place it wasn't a long drawn out 'adventure,' they were just shot at one place, then we see them at the next place.  (The movie isn't supposed to be about the literal journey you take from place to place, more of a metaphorical, ya know?).  Also, Kristin Stewart, I am sorry, this is probably not your fault entirely, and I am sure that somewhere the director and the writers (maybe an agent?) had something to do with this, but come on!  Find a movie where you don't play the vulnerable girl who loves all and is loved by all, and for gods sake, stop crying!  I don't think it should have even been an issue in this movie who Snow White's "True Love" was, but for some unknown reason, the writers/directors took the movie in a direction (like all freaking Hollywood productions lately it seems) like, 'oh I love him, but I also love him, and they both love me!  Oh, who do I choose?' *insert tears here*.  I'm not wrong - and I don't care for your opinions otherwise.  However, even though it lasts for about 10 seconds, the actor they got to play the dwarf that sings, did a great job with that part.
